(A) Other officers and employees that are deemed necessary shall be appointed by the Board of Aldermen at the first meeting of the newly elected Board.
(B) All officers and employees shall serve at the pleasure of the Board and receive compensation as, from time to time, may be prescribed by the Board. Department heads are hereby authorized to suspend or remove employees in their own department as hereinafter set forth in § 32.05.
