§ 94.070 MOVING OF BUILDING; PERMIT REQUIRED.
   (A)   No person shall move or assist in moving any building on, through or across any street, public alley or over any bridge or paved sidewalk with the town unless and until a permit therefor has been issued by the Town Clerk or his or her designee.
   (B)   If it is determined by the Public Utilities Director that the moving of any building may cause serious injury to the streets or other public improvements, the permit shall not be issued and the building shall not be moved over the streets.
   (C)   All violations of this section shall subject the offender where applicable to a civil penalty to be recovered by the city in a civil action in the nature of debt if the offender does not pay the penalty within 30 days after he has been cited for violation of the ordinance, and may be enforced by an appropriate equitable remedy including but not limited to injunctions and orders of abatement issued from a court of competent jurisdiction as outlined in § 94.999.
   (D)   Each day's continuing violation shall be a separate and distinct offense, and is subject to penalties as outlined in § 94.999.
