§ 53.083 CONNECTIONS FOR SPRINKLER SYSTEMS.
   (A)   All connections for sprinkler systems which are now, or hereafter shall be made with one or two standard fire underwriter’s detector check valves, with gate valve and pressure gauge, arranged for testing the check valves, and the connections shall be made in accordance with specifications furnished by the Superintendent and under his or her supervision.
   (B)   Any connection which does not comply with the aforesaid requirements shall immediately be made to conform thereto.
   (C)   No water passing through the connections made for that purpose shall be used for any purpose, other than to operate the sprinkler system.
   (D)   In the events of the failure of any person to comply with any of the provisions of this section, the town, after complying with § 53.080(B), shall disconnect the premises of the person from the water system.
