The assignee or purchaser of any unexpired occupation license shall be authorized to pursue such occupation under such unexpired license for and during the unexpired term thereof; provided, that such purchaser or assignee shall, before following such occupation, comply in all other respects with all the terms and requirements of the provisions of this code or other ordinances of the city provided for in the original application for such license; and provided further, that nothing in this article shall be so construed as to authorize two or more persons to follow the same occupation under the same license at the same time; and provided further, that the purchaser of such occupation license shall have the right to pursue the occupation named therein or to transfer it to any other person, but under no circumstances shall such occupation license be transferred more than one time.
