Owners of unimproved or vacant real estate located within a residential district, as defined by the Zoning Ordinance, which is located adjacent to or separated by a public street or areaway from a business district, are authorized to post a wood or metal sign visible from the public street or areaway, containing the words “parking prohibited”, in letters at least eight inches high.
