A person commits an offense if he stops, stands, or parks a vehicle other than a bus in a bus stop zone, other than a taxicab in a taxicab stand, or at a stand designated for other passenger common carrier motor vehicles such as rideshare vehicles when the stop zone or stand has been appropriately designated by signs, except that the driver of a passenger vehicle may temporarily stop therein while actually engaged in loading or unloading passengers when stopping does not interfere with a bus or taxicab about to enter the zone.
