(a) Except as provided in Subsection (b), administrative penalties, fees, and court costs assessed under this article must be paid into the city’s general fund for the use and benefit of the city.
(b) From the administrative penalties assessed under this article, $36 for each violation (other than a violation of Section 49-21.1 of this code) for which a person is found liable must be deposited into the Dallas Tomorrow Fund established in Section 27-16.22 of this article or the Dallas Animal Welfare Fund established under Section 7-8.4 of Chapter 7 of this code, as applicable.
