In this article:
(1) DIRECTOR means the director of the department designated by the city manager to enforce and administer this article or the director’s designated representative.
(2) FUMIGATION and EXTERMINATION BY FUMIGATION mean the use of hydrocyanic acid gas, cyanogen, chloropicrin, methyl bromide, or any other poisonous, noxious, or dangerous gases or fumes which are liable to affect human beings by causing sickness or death, for the extermination of germs, bacteria, insects, vermin, rats, or other pests in any place of domestic habitation, hotel, apartment hotel, apartment building, tenement building, store, office, hospital, asylum, home, rooming house, place of public assembly, or any other building or place.
