(A) It is resolved by the Town Council of the Town of Daleville, Delaware County, Indiana that a need now exists for the establishment of a Fire Protection Territory Equipment Replacement Fund for the following purposes: for all uses as set out in I.C. 36-8-19-8.5.
(B) The Daleville Town Council will adhere to the provisions of I.C. 36-8-19-8.5. The proposed fund will not exceed $0.0300 on each $100 of assessed valuation. Said tax rate will be levied beginning with the taxes for 2017 payable 2018 and will be a uniform tax rate.
(C) Proofs of publication of the public hearing held on the July 24, 2017, and a certified copy of this section shall be submitted to the Department of Local Government Finance of the State of Indiana as provided by law. This Fund is subject to the approval of the Department of Local Government Finance.
(D) Salem Township, Delaware County, Indiana is the provider unit of the Daleville/Salem Township fire protection territory and the Town of Daleville, Delaware County, Indiana is the participating unit of said fire protection territory. Salem Township, as the provider unit, is authorized to establish this Fund. This section incorporates by reference the contents of the agreement to establish the Fund.
