Any permit issued under the provisions of this chapter may be revoked for the violation by the permittee of any provision of this code, state law or district ordinance. Upon such revocation, such permit shall immediately be surrendered to the district, and failure to do so shall be unlawful. Any permit or registration issued under this chapter shall expire on December 31 of each year unless otherwise specified.
