It shall be the duty of the Code Enforcement Officer or the Police Department or such other person or persons as the City Council may from time to time direct to enforce the provisions of this chapter, and upon a determination that a violation of this chapter exists shall ascertain the name and mailing address of the owner, owner's representative, contract purchaser, or the occupant of the premises and the description of the premises where the violation exists. The name and mailing address of the owner may be obtained from the current assessment list maintained by the Office of the Glacier County Assessor or the Montana Department of Revenue.
