A. No permit will be issued unless a street cutting bond has been posted. Said bond must be either a cash or surety bond. Application for street cutting bond is available in the finance office.
B. The amount of the bond for excavating, trenching, drilling or cutting a street or alley up to a length of seventy-five (75) feet shall be as set forth within the mostly recent council adopted fee schedule. The city council will determine the bond requirements for disturbances longer than seventy-five (75) feet. The bond will be held for one (1) year, at which time a written release from the public works supervisor or city administrator will be issued if all repairs have been reasonably performed.
