2.08.020   Qualifications of officers—Oath and bond.
   All officers, both elective and appointive, before entering upon the discharge of their duties of the office, shall take and subscribe an oath or affirmation of office, in the form required by the Constitution, and furnish an undertaking to be approved by the governing body in such sum as it shall prescribe, conditioned for the faithful performance of the duties of their offices and to account, pay over and deliver all money or property coming into their hands by virtue of their office according to law.
   The city finance officer shall execute a bond conditioned upon the faithful discharge of his or her duties according to law in a sum not to exceed one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000.00).
