The city is divided into three wards, as illustrated on the attached map, included at the end of this chapter as Exhibit “A”, and which are described as follows:
A. First Ward. That part of the city which extends from the northern city limits on the west side of Sixth Street and continuing south to Washington Street then extending east until Tenth Street and continuing south on Tenth Street to the southern city limits.
B. Second Ward. That part of the city which extends from the northern city limits on the east side of Sixth Street and continuing south to the north side of Washington Street extending east to the city limits at Highway 16A.
C. Third Ward. That part of the city which extends south from the south side of Washington Street on the east side of Tenth Street, extending east to the eastern city limits, and the Boot Hill Subdivision. (Ord. 865, 2021: Ord. 703, 2011: Ord. 512, 1999: Ord. 426, 1994; prior code § 1-102)
