§ 15.02.145 CALIFORNIA EXISTING BUILDING CODE ADOPTED BY REFERENCE WITH LOCAL AMENDMENTS.
   A.   Adoption of California Existing Building Code, 2022 Edition.
   Pursuant to Cal. Government Code §§ 50022.1 to 50022.8, the California Existing Building Code ("CEBC"), 2022 Edition, published at Title 24, Part 10, of the California Code of Regulations, is adopted by reference, subject to the amendments, additions and deletions set forth below.
   Appendix A (Guidelines for Seismic Retrofit of Existing Buildings) with Chapters A1, A2, A3 is also adopted as Voluntary Earthquake Hazard Reduction Measures in Existing Buildings (Voluntary Seismic Retrofit). One true copy of the CEBC, is on file in the office of the Building Official and is available for public inspection as required by law.
   B.   Amendments to the Code.
   Amendments are located in §§ 15.02.500 et seq. Mandatory Seismic Provisions for Existing Wood-Frame Buildings with Soft, Weak or Open-Front Walls.
