After approval by the City of a final or parcel map of a subdivision, the City Clerk shall transmit the map to the Clerk of the County Board of Supervisors for ultimate transmittal to the County Recorder, however, the City may as a requirement of approval of a Tentative Map specify that the subdivider shall stand in the place of the City Clerk for transmittal of the approved final or parcel map from the City to the County.
