§ 15.10.260 ACTION BY PLANNING COMMISSION.
   A.   Action; generally. Within thirty (30) days after receipt of the departmental reports, said Commission shall approve, approve with conditions, or disapprove the Tentative Map or any portion thereof. The action of the Commission on the Tentative Map, or any portion thereof, shall be reported in writing to the Council and the subdivider within fifty (50) days of the date of submission of the Tentative Map.
   B.   Planning Commission may require geological report. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this ordinance, should the Planning Commission determine that because of the geology, slope, physical appearance, or other cause, that the Tentative Map should be examined by the Geological Section of the County Engineer's office, they shall instruct the Director of Planning to immediately forward a copy of the Tentative Map to the Geological Section of the Los Angeles County Engineer's office requesting a report and recommendation relating to the safety of the proposed subdivision as represented by the proposed cuts, fills or other movement of earth; or because of the steepness of the land proposed to be subdivided.
