Jurisdiction to approve, disapprove or approve with conditions, the map of any division or subdivision shall be vested in the City Council of the City of Culver City, provided, however, said Council has jurisdiction only to approve a map of a division, subdivision, or such part thereof, as may lie within the incorporated areas of the City and the unincorporated area adjacent or near to the City, subject to future annexation.
