The provisions of this subchapter shall be supplemental to the provisions and regulations of the Building Code adopted by the Administrative Building Council of the state, approved and promulgated August 22, 1945, and any amendments subsequently adopted pursuant to law, and should any of the provisions of this subchapter conflict with any provisions of the Building Code, the provisions of the regulations of Administrative Building Council of the state shall control.
