§ 35.01 AMBULANCE RATES; CHARGES; REGULATIONS.
   (A)   The following schedule of rates and charges is adopted relative to the town ambulance service:
      (1)   For ambulance trips which shall include patient transfers and ambulance service.
 
Basic Life Support transport (BLS)
$450 each transport
Advanced BLS transport
$100 additional
 
      (2)   Paramedic Assist, in accordance with signed agreement between town and Plymouth Ambulance Service, and on top of BLS transport fee: $300 each transport.
   (B)   An additional charge from point of patient pick-up to hospital or other medical care center destination shall be assessed. There shall be a mileage fee for any distance, including less than one mile, rounded up to the nearest mile: $10 per loaded mile.
   (C)   In addition to the fees described in divisions (A) and (B) above, there shall be additional charges, copies of which are on file in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer.
   (D)   The acceptance by the town ambulance service of assignments by patients of insurance benefits shall in no way relieve the patients of their obligation to make payment for the services in the event that the patient’s insurance fails to provide for full payment of the applicable charges. Patients shall remain responsible to the town ambulance service for the full amount of all the charges, but shall be given credit for any amounts covered by the patient’s insurance.
