There is hereby established a Department of Parks and Recreation. The Department shall consist of a Park Superintendent and other personnel as may be determined from time to time by the Town Manager and the Culver Town Council.
(A) The salary of the Superintendent and all other personnel in the Department of Parks and Recreation shall be from time to time set by the Town Council but within current appropriations fixed by the Council.
(B) The Town Council directs the Town Manager to assist in the supervision of the Department of Parks and Recreation on all mattes connected therewith.
(C) The Town Council may create an advisory council to be composed of citizens interested int eh process of parks and recreation. In the event such an advisory council is created, members shall be appointed by the Town Council with the exception of at least one member to be appointed by the Union Township Trustee.
(D) That it may be necessary by the Town Department of Parks and Recreation to enter into a new intergovernmental agreement with Union Township.
(E) Upon the effective date of this section, all books, papers, documents and other property relating to the Department of Parks and Recreation and of its Board as previously established shall be transferred to and become the property of the town.
