§ 151.077 PAVEMENT CONSTRUCTION.
   (A)   Local and cul-de-sac streets.
      (1)   A six-inch plain concrete pavement on compacted sub-grade or an equivalent balanced section as recommended by the Portland Cement Association;
      (2)   A three-inch hot asphalt concrete pavement on eight inches of compacted aggregate base on a compacted sub-grade; or
      (3)   A deep strength hot asphalt concrete design with minimum total depth of seven and one-half inches on a compacted sub-grade.
   (B)   Collector streets.
      (1)   A six and one-half inch plain concrete pavement on compacted sub-grade or an equivalent balanced section as recommended by the Portland Cement Association;
      (2)   A three and one-half inch hot asphalt concrete pavement on 12 inches of compacted aggregate base on a compacted sub-grade; or
      (3)   A deep strength hot asphalt concrete design with a minimum total depth of nine and one-half inches on a compacted sub-grade.
   (C)   (1)   Higher standards than indicated in this section may be required by the Town Council to provide adequately for unusual soil conditions, extra-ordinary traffic volumes or other abnormal characteristics.
      (2)   All materials, mixtures and workmanship shall conform to the State Highway Specifications.
