§ 95.054  INJURY TO TREES.
   (A)   No person shall intentionally damage, cut, carve, transplant or remove any public tree; attach any wires, nails, chains, cables, advertising posters, or any other contrivance to any public tree; allow any gaseous, solid or liquid substance which is harmful to the trees to come in contact with them; or set fire to allow to burn when the fire or heat will injure any portion of any public tree.
   (B)   When evaluating damage compensation to the town for trees damaged in a manner as set forth above or damaged unintentionally by vehicular accidents, the valuation formula methods to be used will be those of the Council of Tree and Landscape Appraisers accepted by the International Arborist Association.
