(A) Any person who violates the provision of the above sections shall be fined $20 provided that the fine shall be reduced to $10 if the person shall pay within 48 hours after the violation the sum of $10 to the office of the Clerk-Treasurer of the town; provided, however:
(B) Any person who violates the provisions of § 72.01 shall be fined $20, provided that the fine shall be reduced to $10 if the person shall pay within 48 hours after the violation the sum of $10 to the office of the Clerk-Treasurer of the town; provided, however, that in the event of a second offense during any calendar year, the fine shall be reduced to $15 if paid within 48 hours at the office of the Clerk-Treasurer as provided above. The fine for third and subsequent offenses in any calendar year may not be reduced.
