§ 52.06  WATER BILL ADJUSTMENTS.
   (A)   Actual water usage will be billed on a monthly basis, based on meter readings obtained by the town.
   (B)   In the event that an actual meter reading cannot be obtained, the Clerk-Treasurer will bill for water service on a 12 month average basis. Until such time as an actual reading can be made, the 12 month average will serve as the basis for billing.
   (C)   The Town Council shall have the authority to adjust water and sewer bills. actual meter readings will be utilized for billing adjustments. Billing adjustments will not be based upon the 12 month average.
   (D)   No customer shall be entitled to a sewer bill adjustment more than one time per calendar year for a water leak. the customer must demonstrate proof of the water leak (plumbing repair bills, etc.).
   (E)   Water use will be averaged to calculate the sewer charge; however, water consumption will be billed at the actual amount used.
   (F)   In the event of an over billing for water service by the Clerk-Treasurer’s Office, the customer shall be billed for the minimum usage of zero gallons until the amount of the over billing is fully accounted for.
