(A) It is the purpose of this section to designate an enforcing agency to discharge the responsibilities of the city under the provisions of the State Construction Code Act.

(B) Pursuant to the provisions of the State Construction Code Act of 1972, § 8b(7), as amended, the city hereby transfer responsibility for the administration and enforcement of its building code provisions to the County of Sanilac.
