(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to own or keep any dog, four months old or older, unless the dog is licensed pursuant to Michigan statute, or to own any dog, four months old or older, that does not at all times wear a collar with a tag attached thereto as required by the Michigan statute.
(B) It shall be unlawful for any animal owner to allow the animal to run at large within the city.
(C) A person who owns or harbors a dog shall produce proof of valid dog license upon the request of a law enforcement officer, as defined in this chapter.
