The City Assessor shall possess all the powers vested in and shall be charged with all the duties imposed upon assessing officers by the general laws of the State. He/she shall make and prepare all regular and special assessment rolls in the manner prescribed by this charter and the general laws of the State. He/she shall perform such other duties as may be prescribed for him/her in this charter or by the Council or City Administrator.
