(A) This chapter is adopted pursuant to the authorization and policies contained in M.S. Ch. 103B and Ch. 462, as they may be amended from time to time, Minn. Rules Parts 6120.2500 to 6120.3900; and Minn. Rules Ch. 8410 and Ch. 8420.
(B) This chapter is intended to meet the current construction site erosion and sediment control and post-construction storm water management regulatory requirements for construction activity and small construction activity (NPDES permit) as defined in 40 C.F.R. §§ 122.26(b)(14)(x) and 122.26(b)(15), respectively.
(C) This chapter is intended to meet the minimal impact design standards (MIDS) developed under M.S. § 115.03, Subd. 5c, as it may be amended from time to time.
