§ 150.03 HOUSE NUMBERING.
   (A)   Owners to number. Each and every property owner in the city is required to number his or her building with the proper sized number, the material of the numbers to be either glass or metal in accordance with the Philadelphia system of numbering houses.
   (B)   Philadelphia system. The plan for numbering for the city is designated as the Philadelphia system of 100 for each block, with a number determined for each and every platted lot upon the street or avenue upon which it fronts, regardless of size or shape.
   (C)   Base lines. Cross Avenue shall be and constitute the base for all the avenues running north and south, and Main Street shall be and constitute the base for all the streets running east and west.
   (D)   Numbering. The buildings or lots on every side of every street, alley, and avenue in the city shall be numbered alternately, front and back; the odd numbers being assigned to the buildings or lots abutting the west side of the avenues and the north side of the streets; and all even numbers shall be assigned to the buildings or lots abutting upon the east side of the avenues and the south side of the streets.
