To facilitate the removal of snow from city streets, avenues, and alleys during a snow emergency, the city shall give reasonable notice on the local radio stations of the names of the streets which shall be cleared and upon which parking shall be prohibited. The Mayor or public works supervisor shall be empowered, in the event of the necessity for snow removal, to declare a snow emergency.
