§ 70.202 REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES OF CITY ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR(S)
   (A)   The city shall appoint City Electrical Inspector(s) who shall have the duty of performing the inspections for compliance with the standards adopted herein, issuing certificates of approval, and enforcing these provisions in any manner as required herein.
   (B)   No person shall be appointed to act as City Electrical Inspector to enforce the provisions of this article who has not been certified by the Kentucky Department of Housing, Buildings, and Construction. A corporation may be appointed City Electrical Inspector(s). All personal inspections approvals and enforcement of this article by an person who is so certified and who is also an agency or employee of such corporate inspector shall be deemed to be the acts of and have the same validity and effect as if such duties were performed by such corporate City Electrical Inspector(s).
   (C)   The designation of City Electrical Inspector to provide electrical inspection services, under this article, is subject to withdrawal and cancellation upon three (3) months advance notice by the city.
