(A) Pursuant to KRS Chapter 237:
(1) No person shall carry a concealed deadly weapon into a meeting of this municipality except that nothing in this section shall preclude a member of the City Council or Mayor from carrying a concealed deadly weapon at a meeting of the body of which he or she is a member; and
(2) No person shall carry a concealed deadly weapon in any building owned, leased or controlled by the city. The areas so designated shall be identified by signs posted at the entrance of said areas.
(B) Those buildings owned, leased or controlled by the city but used for public housing by private persons, highway rest areas, firing ranges and private dwellings shall be exempt from the restrictions of this section.
