§ 51.001 DEFINITIONS
   For the purpose of this article, the following definitions shall apply unless the context indicates or clearly requires a different meaning.
   "DOMESTIC ANIMALS." Any animal kept as a pet in or near the house among the following class: Dogs, cats, rabbits, parakeet, canary, parrot, aquarium fish.
   "LIVESTOCK." All animals kept or raised for use or pleasure except domestic animals.
