(A) The City Council by ordinance shall fix the salary of each employee and will show the annual salary based on a fifty-two (52) week year, and will further provide in the ordinance whether such employee is to be paid on a weekly, monthly, or hourly basis, and the pay period of each officer or employee.
(B) Part-time employees shall be paid within the hourly rates of the position for which employed. The specific rate shall be fixed by ordinance of City Council.
