§ 173.05  WILLFULLY LEAVING VEHICLES ON PRIVATE OR PUBLIC PROPERTY.
   (A)   No person shall leave any motor vehicle other than an abandoned junk motor vehicle, as defined in R.C. § 4513.63, on private residential property, as defined in R.C. §§ 4513.60 and 4513.61 or agricultural property for more than 4 hours without the permission of the person having the right to the possession of the property or on a public street or other property open to the public for purposes of vehicular travel or upon or within the right-of-way of any road or highway for 48 hours or longer, without notification and providing such reasons for leaving such vehicle set at such location and obtaining the permission of the Chief of Police or his or her designee to continue to leave such vehicle in such location.
   (B)   Upon receiving notice or a warning of a violation of this section, the owner of the vehicle shall immediately remove the vehicle completely from the street or property upon which the vehicle was located and shall not relocate it to another street or private property not owned or controlled by the owner of the vehicle without authorization of the Chief of Police or his or her designee or the owner of such private property.
   (C)   Penalty. Any person found violating this section shall be fined not less than $25 and not more than $100.
