3-1-5: POWERS OF LOCAL LIQUOR CONTROL COMMISSION:
The Local Liquor Control Commission shall also have the following powers:
   (A)   To grant and/or suspend for not more than thirty (30) days or revoke for cause all local licenses issued to persons for premises within the Village.
   (B)   To enter or to authorize any law enforcing officer to enter at any time upon any premises licensed hereunder to determine whether any of the provisions of this chapter or any rules or regulations adopted by him or by the State of Illinois or the State Commission have been or are being violated, and at such time to examine said premises of said licensee in connection therewith.
   (C)   To receive complaint from any citizen that any of the provisions of this chapter, or the rules or regulations adopted pursuant thereto, have been or are being violated and to act upon such complaints.
   (D)   To receive local license fees provided for herein, and to pay the same forthwith to the Village Treasurer.
   (E)   To hold hearing, take testimony, examine applicants and to do and perform all acts necessary or incidental to such office.
   (F)   To levy fines in accordance with 235 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/7-5.
Whenever in this chapter the Local Liquor Control Commission is referred to, this office shall include any committee or other person appointed by such Local Liquor Control Commissioner acting for him. (Ord. 820B, 7-11-2018)
