3-1-4: ADMINISTRATION:

The Mayor shall be charged with the administration of all liquor laws. Pursuant to 235 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/4-2, the Mayor, as Liquor Control Commissioner, may appoint additional persons to assist him in the exercise of the powers vested in him and in the performance of his duties as Local Liquor Control Commissioner, and collectively the Mayor and such additional appointees shall be referred to as Local Liquor Control Commission.
