(A) The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board shall manage the Park and Recreation Department and shall serve as an advisory board, making recommendations to the Village Board for the following items:
1. Park master planning.
2. Budget and financial planning.
3. Policies related to the use of the parks and recreational facilities.
4. Fee structures.
5. Capital improvements.
6. Volunteer and employee procurement and coordination, and
7. Other matters as directed by the Village Board.
(B) The Advisory Board shall have the authority to develop and implement recreational activities and programs without the Board of Trustees' approval, provided such activities and programs are financially feasible. The board shall forward a summary of the recreational programs offered at least once each quarter to the Village Board for informational purposes. (Ord. 834, 3-8-2017)
