11-3-1: GENERAL:
The following standards and principals of design shall guide the laying out of subdivisions:
The design of the subdivision shall be in harmony with and shall conform with the Comprehensive Plan and shall be in accordance with good subdivision design principles not otherwise set forth herein.
Natural features, such as distinctive trees or vegetation, streams, ponds, hilltops, bluffs, creek bottoms and outlook stations or views shall be preserved and enhanced wherever possible. In laying out a subdivision due consideration shall be given to aesthetic features existing within the tract being subdivided and which may add to the aesthetic quality of existing nearby subdivisions.
