8-10-1: PUBLIC PARK, PLAYGROUND AND PAVILION REGULATIONS:
   (A)   All parks, playgrounds and pavilions located upon public property or dedicated to public use shall be open for the use and enjoyment of the general public each day from six o'clock (6:00) A.M. until eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to be present on the premises of any park, playground or pavilion upon public property or dedicated to the public use between eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. and six o'clock (6:00) A.M. unless the hours for use of said facility have been lengthened by the village board or other appropriate supervising agency and a public notice is posted to said effect.
   (C)   No person shall have in his or her possession any alcoholic beverage in any park, playground or other public property, except in the original package and with the seal unbroken; unless the sale of alcoholic beverages at a public facility has been approved for special events by the village board and a public notice is posted to said effect.
   (D)   No person shall cause any improved roadways in any park, playground or pavilion area to be closed, locked or barricaded at any time without prior approval of the village board of trustees.
   (E)   A person convicted of a violation of any of the provisions of this chapter shall be fined not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00). (Ord. 575-A, 1-23-2002)
   (F)   Pavilion rental fee shall be established by the village board annually and published in the office of the village clerk.
Beyond the fee, there is also a fully refundable deposit required, above and beyond the rental fee, to ensure that the pavilion is left in the same condition in which it was rented. The fully refundable deposit amount shall also be established by the village board annually and published in the office of the village clerk.
In the event the pavilion is left in need of cleanup, the full amount of the deposit shall be charged to the renter and the deposit will be kept. In the event the renter cleans up after their use of the pavilion, the deposit will be returned within thirty (30) days of rental. (Ord. 806, 3-9-2016)
