(A) The mayor of the village is hereby empowered and authorized by his order to prohibit the use of water from the village water system for the watering of lawns and gardens, washing of automobiles, and filling of swimming pools during periods of water shortage or low water pressure in the water system.
(B) Any party who so uses such water during the period of such prohibition shall be in violation of this section, and upon conviction thereof, subject to penalty as provided herein. Any party who persists in the continued use of such water during the period of such prohibition shall be subject to a fine of up to seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) for each such violation and/or immediate termination of water service by the order of the village mayor.
