Any and all persons desiring water from the Village water system shall apply for a service permit at the Village Water Department. The applicant shall also obtain from the Village an approved water meter at such cost as is from time to time established by the Village Board. All costs and fees must be paid in advance before service will be allowed. Any and all connections into the Village's water distribution system shall be made by the Public Works Department, unless otherwise approved, in writing by the Public Works Department. The applicant shall be responsible for time and material charges for the work performed by the Village and for any applicable inspection fees. Each application shall contain all of the information required by the Public Works Department. A permit fee of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) shall be paid at the time the application is submitted. (Ord. 293-J, 6-14-1995; amd. Ord. 293-M, 11-13-1996)
