7-1-15: SEWAGE TREATMENT REQUIRED:
Where liquid wastes from any source are not discharged into a public sewer, such wastes shall be treated or disposed of so as not to endanger or contaminate any water supply that is or may be used for drinking or domestic purposes or for bathing or so as not to create any nuisance or unsanitary condition, which shall be considered either by the Superintendent of Sewers or the Health Department of the Village as dangerous and unhealthy to the residents and citizens of the Village.
Where sewage of any kind which is to be discharged into a public sewer is of such a character as to endanger the sewer system, or is placing an over burden upon a publicly owned sewage treatment plant, such sewage shall be satisfactorily treated before being admitted to the public sewers.
