Any person or other party to whom a permit or license shall have been issued and who shall neglect, refuse or fail to make good any defect or fault in any of the work done, or materials used under any permit or license from the village within five (5) days after written notice thereof from the superintendent of sewers, shall not be permitted to do any further or additional work of constructing any sewer, connection or drain or appurtenance until such defects or faults have been made good in manner satisfactory to the superintendent of sewers; and any and all then existing permit or permits or license in favor of such person or other party shall be revoked by the superintendent of sewers and the bond of such person enforced as to past defaults.
