5-3-7: FIRE SUPPRESSION TRAINING:

(A) Notwithstanding other provisions of this chapter, structures and other materials may be burned for fire prevention training if an appropriate permit has been obtained from the Illinois environmental protection agency.

(B) All fire suppression training should conform to the guidelines established by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standard on live fire training evolutions (NFPA 1403). (Ord. 643, 6-13-2007)
