(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to drive any vehicle over any fire hose laying in any street or alley, or to touch any fire apparatus without authority from a fireman on duty or from a member of the village board. (Ord. 94, 7-20-1938)
(B) Upon the sounding of the siren, bell or other warning device used upon fire apparatus or other vehicles of the fire department, all operators and drivers of vehicles shall drive their vehicles as near to the right curb or right side of the street as is reasonably possible and shall remain standing or parked at such right side until such fire apparatus has passed. It shall be unlawful for the driver or operator of any vehicle, other than one on official business, to follow any fire apparatus responding to a fire alarm, closer than four hundred feet (400'), or to park any vehicle within three hundred feet (300') of the place where the fire apparatus has stopped in response to a fire alarm.
