4-7-2: REQUIREMENTS OF CONSTRUCTION OF POOLS/SPAS:
   (A)   Plans And Permit On Site: Village approved plans and permit must be on the job site at all times.
   (B)   Construction Requirements:
      1.   A construction barrier is necessary to protect the area during construction.
      2.   If a pool heater is installed, the gas company will be required to confirm that the existing gas meter and service is sufficient for the added demand.
      3.   Pool heaters shall be equipped with a readily accessible on- off switch to allow shutting off the heater without adjusting the thermostat setting.
      4.   Pool heaters fired by natural gas shall not have a continuously burning pilot light.
      5.   Time switches that can automatically turn off and on heaters and pumps according to a preset schedule shall be installed on swimming pool heaters and pumps.
      6.   All electrical work must be hard wired and to code. The electrical requirements are based on the Electrical Codes adopted by the Village's electrical inspector (a copy of the codes adopted is on file with the Village Clerk).
      7.   All excavated soil must be hauled offsite.
   (C)   Inspection: Inspections will be required as the project progresses. Each inspection must be scheduled with the building inspector or electrical inspector who must be given at least twenty four (24) hours' notice when scheduling:
      1.   Fence.
      2.   Underground electric.
      3.   Concrete wall/slab.
