Before any plumbing work is started in or on any building or project, a permit must be secured. The fee for such permit and subsequent inspection shall be in accordance with the fee schedule on file with the village clerk.
The builder must secure a plumbing permit from the plumbing inspector at the same time that he applies for and receives his building permit from the building inspector. The plumbing inspector shall make two (2) inspections of the premises for which the permit has issued. In case more than two (2) inspections of the premises are required, due to failure to plumb in accordance with the plumbing code, additional fees for each additional inspection as listed on the fee schedule, shall be charged.
No fee shall be charged for a plumbing permit issued to any church, municipal corporation or taxing district. (Ord. 707, 12-14-2011)
