§ 50.01 PLACEMENT OF TRASH, GARBAGE OR LITTER RECEPTACLES ON OR ADJACENT TO PUBLIC WAY FOR COLLECTION.
   (A)   The purpose of this section is to regulate the times by which residents of the city may place their garbage or other solid waste out on the public right-of-way for collection purposes.
   (B)   As used in this section, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, GARBAGE CAN or LITTER RECEPTACLE shall mean those containers used to deposit litter or garbage.
   (C)   All refuse, garbage, or litter to be collected by the city or its agents shall be placed at the curb or edge of the roadway no earlier than 2:00 p.m. the evening before the day set for collection.
   (D)   All empty garbage cans or litter receptacles are to be removed by the owners thereof from the street or public right-of-way on the collection day or within 24 hours after the garbage, litter, or other solid waste was collected.
